In this role you will support lenders through detailed financial analysis, loan underwriting, and portfolio documentation. You’ll be a trusted resource to the lending team, contribute directly to loan approvals, and help ensure regulatory credit compliance.

What You’ll Get to Do
- Spread and analyze personal and business financial statements and tax returns
- Prepare detailed Loan Request models for new, renewal, and existing credits
- Assess borrowers & recommend appropriate loan terms
- Maintain and monitor loan files, risk ratings, ticklers, and financial covenants
- Underwrite loan participations and complete annual loan reviews
- Assist with construction advances, collections, and exam preparation
- Support appraisal ordering, reviews, and internal evaluations in compliance with bank policy
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly Loan Committee and Board reporting
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
- 3–5 years of credit experience within a banking environment
- Strong understanding lending practices (Ag &/or Commercial lending experience preferred)
- Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Lending Cloud
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple lenders and priorities
