Slitter Operator
Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, work environment where you will set up and operate a manual slitter/automatic slitter and associated packing lines, in Litchfield County CT?
What You Will Do:
- Sets up and operates slitter according to established procedures
- Ensure finishing equipment is working correctly, troubleshoot, perform safety inspects and complete required documentation, perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, and initiate work orders for repairs
- Perform equipment change-over and splices
- Maintain inventories needed for production run
- Perform data entry on SAP
What You Will Need:
- Ability to read length measurements, gauges, and meters
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately, work independently, and be a team player
- Ability to position and lift 50 – 100 pounds
- Basic math skills, computer skills, and data entry.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school background desirable

- 3rd Shift Monday – Thursday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Availability to work Overtime on Fridays as needed
