Job Description
Our client, a leading trucking dealership, is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join their team. This critical role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, managing repair requests, warranty concerns, and preventive maintenance while providing outstanding customer service. This critical role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, managing repair requests, warranty concerns, and preventive maintenance while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities:
• Conduct lot inspections at the start of the day
• Welcome customers warmly upon arrival and manage their service needs
• Communicate equipment status updates via phone or email
• Schedule and manage service appointments efficiently
• Document vehicle issues clearly and accurately on repair request forms
• Collect vehicle information, billing details, and payment methods
• Use tablets to capture before-and-after photos of serviced vehicles
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts
• Order parts and coordinate timely invoicing
• Track repair progress throughout the day in collaboration with technicians and foremen
• Review completed repair orders to ensure all tasks are finished
• Explain completed work and charges to customers clearly and professionally
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction
• Manage incoming telephone inquiries regarding appointments and repairs
• Keep the service office clean and organized
• Support accounts payable/receivable and payroll as assigned
• Report directly to the Shop Foreman
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum six months of customer service experience, preferably in automotive or heavy equipment service
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and math skills
• Professional demeanor with excellent reading and computer literacy, including data entry
• Familiarity with Karmak systems is preferred but not required
• Ability to alternate between sitting and standing for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required
