DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development engineering
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex product development projects from conception to launch
- Proficiency in using SolidWorks and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of product development methodologies and processes
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing voice-of-the-customer techniques to drive product definition and requirement development.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As the Sr. Product Innovation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging external customer insights with internal teams such as Business Development, Product Management, Sales, and Operations. Your expertise will be crucial in steering product development projects that align with our company's strategic goals and in fostering strong communication across departments
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Focus on improving speed-to-market, reducing product costs, and driving overall business growth.
- Work with Business Development and Product Management to develop and implement a comprehensive new product development plan that reflects customer needs and strategic company goals.
- Create detailed project plans, estimate development costs, and prioritize quick delivery of products to customers.
- Conduct research and trade studies to determine optimal design approaches and product solutions that meet customer needs and company growth objectives.
- Visit customers to understand their applications and propose solutions using existing and new products.
- Develop and manage rigorous test plans, execute tests, document results, and recommend design modifications based on test outcomes
- Lead the design, development, modification, and implementation of new products.
