Job Description
Join a trusted manufacturer of high-performance friction materials as a Senior Machine Operator. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery to support production targets and uphold quality standards. You’ll play a leadership role on the floor, mentoring junior operators and ensuring safety and compliance are top priorities. This position offers a great opportunity for experienced operators seeking long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, set up and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient output
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments during production
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
- Train, mentor, and guide junior operators on safety and machine procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred
- 3-5 years of machine operation experience, including 1-2 years in a lead or senior role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

The base salary range for this position is $20.00-$24.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
