Job Description
As an IJIS Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing the court case management system (JWEB) for the third-largest county in the United States. JWEB is a mission-critical system supporting over two dozen justice/law enforcement agencies, requiring robust integrations and technical updates. This role involves collaborating with the Integrated Justice Information System (IJIS) Director and stakeholders to establish a modernization roadmap, define key business requirements, and recommend process improvements for optimal system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document business requirements for the JWEB modernization project.
- Analyze current system inefficiencies and identify gaps.
- Collaborate with justice community stakeholders and technical teams to define integration needs.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and modernization strategies.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, team members, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support system implementation, from coding and testing to deployment and maintenance.
- Create detailed workflows, use case documentation, and system requirement specifications.
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 application support in coordination with Tier 1 Agency contacts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- Minimum of 10 years of business analysis experience.
- Successful completion of at least two IT transformation/modernization projects within the last 7 years.
- Proficiency in technical writing, SQL, and database management.
- Strong knowledge of process modeling, workflow diagramming, and cloud transformation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and general IT tools.
Preferences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with government operations, organizational structures, and policies.
- Experience in law enforcement or court case management systems.

- Must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

The Pay Rate range for this position is $35 – $40 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
