Job Description
This role supports the quarterly close process and helps prepare and review both quarterly and annual statutory financial statements, including audited filings and supplemental reports. This role performs variance analysis and contributes to quarterly risk-based capital calculations. The analyst also collaborates with internal and external auditors and participates in discussions with actuarial and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounting and reporting of private assets
- Responsible for investment accounting close activities
- Collaborate with and provide analysis to groups across the organization and relevant stakeholders and leaders
- Complete and distribute quarterly STAT and GAAP investment disclosures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- MS Excel experience, SAP, or similar software experience
- CPA preferred, NOT required

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $110,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
