Job Description
In this position, you should be detail-oriented and skilled at handling multiple filings, including sales, use, property, and rent taxes across multiple regions. Working knowledge of tax systems and laws, along with the ability to solve problems and collaborate with others, will help in navigating audits and ensuring compliance. Strong Excel skills and a background in multi-state tax filings are essential for day-to-day success.
Responsibilities:
- Complete various tax filings, including sales, use, property, and rent tax returns for multi-state regions
- Help keep tax software systems updated and accurate while staying on top of law changes and reporting rules
- Support audits and make sure all tax filings follow local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage the process for reporting unclaimed property and assist with special tax projects as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years’ experience with multi-state sales and property tax filing
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally internally and externally with customers
- SAP and/or Hyperion experience, a plus

The base salary range for this position is $60,000–$65,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
