The Specialist will work closely with internal teams, including the Business Development (BD) Underwriters and BD Sales Representatives. Create dental and vision proposals to field offices nationwide for Sales representatives to review with new potential businesses that offer employer benefits. Provide internal communication and support the team and field offices by assisting with questions about the products, plan design elements, and business guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Become knowledgeable on Insurance benefit products offered to prospective new employer businesses that offer Employee benefits products, including plan design elements and rating components of these plan elements.
- Review requests for proposals (RFPs) for field offices. Become skilled at analyzing the details of the RFP and interpreting documents while effectively matching groups’ current Dental/Vision plan booklets.
- Utilize our Sales Xpress rating system to create plan designs requested on the RFP and generate Dental/Vision proposals to send to the field offices.
- Support the field offices by answering questions about proposals, rates, products, business guidelines, and sales strategies.
- Deliver excellent customer experience through daily interactions with internal and external customers.
- Work with team members to meet specified metrics for completing manual quotes and sold case submissions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, commitment to customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
- Can collaborate in a team environment while also delivering independent results
- Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Internet search skills required.
Requirement for working remotely:
- Internet with a minimum download network speed of 20 Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps.
- Workspace with availability to be hooked up to an internet modem.
- Computer system with two monitors provided.

Our insurance client hires temporary Sales Support Specialists annually June – November to assist team with increasing workflow activity for the upcoming annual 2026 new business contracts. Work remotely and attend business meetings on site as required. Possible assignment extensions based on work volume will be determined later.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
