Job Description:
As a Risk Management Coordinator, you will work under the general administrative direction of the Assistant Director of HR, responsible for managing the company’s insurance, evaluating and managing the risks of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Must have data management, statistical analysis, insurance management, preferably in the public sector; accounting
- Managing the company insurance policies, evaluating and managing the risks
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance of the organization making sure they are in compliance
- Overseeing the agency’s insurance coverages and Risk Management programs
- Maintain communication with insurers to maintain compliance with all policies. Monitor and estimate the effectiveness of existing coverages and make recommendations for changes
- Responsible and complex administrative reporting and support to the Agency. Must be able to process and manage data for statistical analysis and reporting.
- Supports the Human Resources department in the delivery of strategic plans to fit with the overall Agency direction.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a similar major
- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certification preferred
- Requires three (3) years of progressive responsible experience in data management, statistical analysis, insurance management, preferably in the public sector; accounting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Expert level skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Valid Florida Driver’s License, Insurable under the agency’s insurance policy

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
