Job Description
The Recruiting Coordinator will provide essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, focusing on recruitment and staffing for a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. This position is key in ensuring efficient recruitment processes and a positive candidate experience. You will also assist with onboarding and employee engagement activities while maintaining accurate records and supporting HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage job requisitions, coordinate resume reviews, schedule interviews, and handle candidate feedback in the Vendor Management System (VMS)
- Maintain requisition reports, track candidate statuses, and provide onboarding coordination for new hires
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparation of orientation materials and documentation follow-up
- Monitor contingent worker attendance and address concerns with supervisors or vendors
- Respond to employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed
- Support employee engagement activities and provide requested analyses
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems with adaptability to new technologies
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
