Job Description
Join a long-standing, well-respected metal stamping company as a Quality Specialist where your attention to detail helps ensure only top-quality parts reach customers. In this hands-on role, you will perform visual inspections on precision sheet metal parts and document quality data to support production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a commitment to excellence, and thrives in a team-focused manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and manual inspections of stamped metal parts for cosmetic or dimensional defects
- Document inspection results and communicate deviations to the production or quality team
- Use standardized inspection procedures and tools to verify part accuracy
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supervisors to resolve quality issues
- Follow all company safety, quality, and documentation protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in manufacturing or metal stamping
- Experience in inspecting for flaws in highly details, cosmetic finishes (or related experience which will translate)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read prints or models
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs

The base salary range for this position is $17.50-$19, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
