Job Description
Play a critical role in supporting production goals and maintaining high company standards when you become a Quality Assurance Operator with one the leading designers and manufacturers of fiber optic networking products. Our client primarily serves three growing end-markets: cable television broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspection, testing, and/pr screening for defects in optoelectronic components.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform detailed measurements and tests using specialized equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
- Document and report inspection results, identifying any defects or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities in accordance with company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to quality control processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience in quality control, inspection, or a related role within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in using microscopes, hand tools, computers and tweezers
- Basic computer skills
- Data entry experience
- Familiarity with SAP, MES, or other inventory and quality management systems
- Highly prefer someone with previous experience in quality control
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
