Quality Assurance
Pay Rate: $50,000 DOE
Location: Mt Airy, NC
Hours: Day Shift
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management principles and proven experience in implementing QA processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's degree quality management, or related experience in QA/QC field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
