Job Description
As a Quality Control Clerk at Roger Wood Foods, you will have a big impact ensuring Roger Wood Foods customers and FSIS Inspection personnel that the product produced here is safe for human consumption.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and enforce all Safety, GMPs, SOP, & SSOP procedures
- Perform daily preoperational/operational checks, verifications, and document reviews as required for your assigned area.
- Monitor and inspect the plant for condensation, SOPs, SSOPs, and GMPs
- Perform daily facility checks. If damage is observed, a work order must be filled out and turned into the QC Manager. All work orders must be followed up on, with the corrective actions and release dates documented and turned into the QC Manager
- Assist with salt and moisture analysis.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience with high volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience with quality control in a food production facility.
- Mathematical skills
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a cold, wet environment
