Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer known for innovation, precision, and continuous improvement. As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality initiatives, leading process improvements, and ensuring product and process compliance across multiple departments. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and leadership to elevate product quality and strengthen vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities
• Lead quality initiatives and drive LEAN process improvements across departments
• Validate and verify product and process quality through inspection and data analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain certifications and assist with internal and external audits
• Support the development and delivery of training programs related to quality standards and tools
• Partner with suppliers to ensure component and material compliance with quality requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
• Three to five years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Must have experience in metal fabrication and/or welding shop environments, including visual weld inspection
• Strong knowledge of Automotive APQP, LEAN, PFMEA, CAPA, and other quality tools
• Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments
• Willingness to learn to supervise and support quality team members as the department evolves
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards

The base pay range for this position is $90,000–$110,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
