Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Production Operator to support thin film coating operations. This role is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, stripping, and preparing coated and uncoated parts while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work with small parts in a production environment. This position is a great fit for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable following detailed process documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect coated and uncoated parts for cosmetic defects
- Clean, fixture, and prepare standard products for production
- Strip coatings from standard products while minimizing reject rates
- Complete required process documentation accurately
- Support housekeeping, tooling rotation, and process improvement activities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work with small parts requiring visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to inspect parts using a stereo inspection microscope
- Ability to operate equipment without direct supervision
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Regular and punctual attendance required
- Unscheduled overtime and/or shift flexibility may be required
- Training may occur on 1st, 2nd, and/or weekend shift
- Must be comfortable working around hazardous materials, including methanol and acetone

The base pay range for this position is $18.00+ per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, shift, and internal pay equity.
