Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team in the metal stamping industry. This role involves setting up and running progressive dies on presses ranging from 100 to 800+ tons. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow safety protocols while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate progressive die presses from 100 to 800+ tons
- Set up and adjust machines for different jobs
- Read blueprints and use measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace
- Lift and move equipment and materials as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience operating and setting up progressive dies in a metal stamping environment
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, micrometers, and calipers
- Strong math skills and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. comfortably
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
