As a Plastics Operator, you'll be responsible for forming, cutting, and trimming plastic parts for dental and medical equipment using thermoforming machinery and a CNC router. This role requires adherence to all standard ISO procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in your work.
What you will be doing:
•Conducts functional tests to ensure product quality, documents defects, and alerts the Production Lead or Mechanic for process corrections as needed.
•Accurately loads and unloads materials, verifies and adjusts machine settings, and efficiently starts, stops, and restarts machines while managing scrap removal.
•Operates thermoforming and auxiliary equipment, including the CNC router, while maintaining cleanliness and a safe work environment.
•Follows inspection and preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshoots machinery issues, and implements corrections for various defects.
•Maintains accurate production records, adheres to safety protocols, practices good housekeeping, and fulfills ISO standards and training responsibilities.

What is Required:
•Must satisfactorily perform all essential duties; reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
•High school diploma required, along with experience in machine operation and achieving output metrics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English for effective communication.
•Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to read a tape measure.
•Capable of solving practical problems, interpreting various instructions, and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email for communication.
