- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, in concrete required
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and production best practices.
- Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple operational areas.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of driving results.
- Proficiency with manufacturing software and systems
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As the Plant Superintendent you will oversee the daily operations of our precast concrete manufacturing facility in California. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and optimizing plant performance. The Plant Superintendent will collaborate with production teams, management, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations, including production schedules, workforce management, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure all production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Monitor production metrics and take corrective actions to address inefficiencies or potential issues.
- Develop and train plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to support production needs.
- Collaborate with senior management to forecast production demands and develop strategic plans for growth.
