Job Description
Join a well-established manufacturing organization as a Plant Controller. This is a key leadership role within the plant where you’ll partner with operations to deliver financial insights, support strategic decisions, and promote continuous improvement. Ideal for a hands-on leader who understands plant operations and can drive results through data, collaboration, and accountability.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee all aspects of plant-level accounting and financial operations
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting
• Support cost accounting functions including yields, labor, and product costing
• Partner with plant leaders to drive margin improvement and cost control
• Provide financial input for capital projects, budgeting, and operational initiatives
• Mentor and develop the plant accounting team
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
• Maintain effective reporting systems and internal controls
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/production setting
• Strong cost accounting and financial analysis skills
• Hands-on leadership approach with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/accounting systems experience a plus
• CPA certification and food production industry experience are a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
