- Conduct complex and standardized patient care procedures.
- Assess patient’s medical complaints and provide appropriate treatment.
- Assist with collecting patients' histories, screening for tuberculosis, and providing guidance and preventative health to students.
- Perform physical examinations and provide episodic or problem-oriented care under the supervision of a physician.
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited PA program is required.
- Two (2) years of experience with Orthopedics, Spine or Pain Management surgery is preferred.
- A Current Texas Licensure as a Physician Assistant is required.
- A Current Physician Assistant certification issued by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and BCLS Certifications are required.
- Must be proficient in utilizing medical and surgical instruments and equipment required by work.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.
