Job Description
The Payroll Specialist will support the Human Resources department in processing payroll for multiple companies under our client's umbrella. This position plays a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is eager to contribute to process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a cohesive HR team with exposure to a variety of HRIS processes and payroll analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Process and maintain employee payroll records including wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and rate changes
• Prepare and maintain payroll reports and records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Conduct audits and reconcile payroll records, benefits, and deductions
• Provide assistance to employees with payroll-related questions and issues

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
• 3–5 years of proven experience in payroll administration
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
• 3–5 years of proven experience in payroll administration
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy

The base pay range for this position is $60,000–$70,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
