Job Description
The Payroll Manager leads the day-to-day payroll process for employees in the U.S. and Canada, making sure everyone is paid accurately and on time. In this role, you’ll guide a supportive team, work closely with HR and Finance, and look for ways to make payroll smoother and more efficient. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, and improving processes that make a real impact on employees every day.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full payroll process for U.S. and Canadian employees to make sure pay is accurate and on time.
- Lead and support the payroll team by setting goals, providing guidance, and encouraging teamwork.
- Ensure payroll practices follow all laws and tax requirements and handle any audits or government filings.
- Work with HR, Finance, and outside partners to keep payroll data accurate and systems running smoothly.
- Look for ways to improve payroll processes through technology, automation, and better reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources; CPP highly preferred
- 5+ years of payroll experience with 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in both US and Canadian payroll processing and tax compliance
- Software experience of ADP Workforce, Oracle and Excel

The base pay range for this position is $90,000–$110,00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
