Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager/Benefits Manager to oversee payroll operations and benefits administration. This hybrid role involves managing multi-state payroll processing, open enrollment, and FMLA compliance. ADP experience and strong Excel skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, accuracy, and a proactive approach to managing payroll and benefits. Industry-specific experience in a law firm is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll staff and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing
- Oversee benefit rollouts, open enrollment, and FMLA compliance
- Prepare quarterly reports and analyze payroll data using Excel
- Coordinate multi-state payroll processing and reporting
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience with ADP (preferred) and strong Excel skills
- Proven experience in multi-state payroll and benefits management
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
- Law firm experience is a plus but not required
