Job Description
A manufacturing company in Conover, NC is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Professional to support their financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks skills and prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. You'll handle essential accounting tasks, including A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and job costing. This is a flexible 16-hour/week opportunity with growth potential in a stable work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks Desktop
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Generate financial statements and support the month-end closing
- Track inventory and job costing in coordination with operations
- Prepare reports and assist with tax filings and audits
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and job costing principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
