Title: Packaging Team Operator
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Location: Southington, CT
Hours: 2:45pm – 11:15pm Monday – Saturday
This Packaging Team Operator position supports the Packaging department in maintaining operational excellence. Join a team committed to quality, efficiency, and safety. Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, you will perform packaging operations, inspections, and documentation while rotating through various roles to support manufacturing needs.
Responsibilities:
· Operate Form, Fill, and Seal machines, hand-held scanners, label makers, and tape machines.
· Inspect, sort, and pack products while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Perform line clearance and skid changeovers to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Complete and verify documentation and traceability records accurately.
· Clean and inspect machinery during changeovers to ensure proper functionality.
· Assist with the training of new team members.
· Maintain 5S standards and contribute to a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications or Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Less than one year of experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Basic computer skills and fine motor hand coordination.
· Ability to make sound judgments for product disposition.
