Job Description
As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of public health operations. This position involves coordinating various administrative and operational tasks, including managing logistics, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. You will work closely with different departments to streamline processes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of public health initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse operations including inventory tracking and product handling.
- Perform data entry tasks related to product information using computer systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with team members and clients.
- Operate warehouse equipment and handle products efficiently and safely.
- Work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues as needed.
- Stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Be open to working overtime and adapting to changing work requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in warehouse inventory management.
- Proficient in operating computers and knowledgeable in MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Capable of standing and performing physical tasks for long periods.
- Experience with warehouse equipment and logistics processes.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing work demands.
