Job Description
Family of Companies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of its distribution center. This role ensures efficient inbound and outbound operations, inventory control, and the promotion of a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate is organized, capable of navigating fast-paced environments, and skilled in Microsoft Office and internal warehouse technologies. This role is essential to the accurate and timely fulfillment of thousands of product orders each year.
Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse activities including quality assurance, inventory control, shipping, and logistics
- Schedule and manage warehouse team operations, ensuring productivity and minimizing overtime
- Maintain and inspect equipment, oversee maintenance, and uphold safety standards
- Coach and develop team leads and staff to enhance operational performance
- Review operations regularly, track productivity, and implement improvements
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with company core values
- Monitor workflow, space requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work with Director of Operations to set and meet departmental objectives
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3+ years in an operations management role with experience managing hourly employees
- 3+ years of experience in the PVF industry (preferred)
- High school diploma required; BA preferred
- Ability to read and understand specifications, charts, and industry documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain safe, organized, and efficient operations

The base pay range for this position is $80,000–$100,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow for future growth.
