Job Description
 
Seeking a proactive, people-focused Office Manager to oversee administrative operations, client service processes, and firm accounting functions, while supporting a collaborative, values-driven workplace. This role manages internal project tracking, staff supervision, and vendor/payroll functions, while serving as the liaison for IT coordination. Proficiency in software such as QuickBooks, MS Excel, and other tax and practice management tools is essential, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate brings a solutions-oriented mindset, thrives in a fast-paced seasonal environment, and embraces opportunities to mentor others, contribute to strategic initiatives, and live out the company’s core values of Communication, Family, Growth, Integrity, Respect, and Teamwork.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project tracking, tax return processing, electronic filings, and client relationship management, ensuring accurate documentation and timely issue resolution.
  • Lead and manage the administrative team, including hiring, supervision, special projects, and oversight of firm and staff licensing and fees.
  • Oversee firm accounting functions, including payroll, personnel administration, vendor payments, A/R reconciliation, and financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Manage office operations including supplies, facilities, and IT coordination, while serving as a knowledge resource and supporting staff development through mentoring and training.

Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • 2-3 years of public accounting or similar experience required
  • Critical thinking and organizational skills are a must
  • QuickBooks, MS Excel, Office, PowerPoint is a must
  • Tax software experience preferred

The base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
