Job Description
Coordinates and expedites material test reports from receiving, vessel department or suppliers to our document management system. Processes request, resolves documentation issues, manages reports to identify priorities in acquiring material test reports, and maintain computerized records.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality documentation for all stocking mills
- Request documents needed to maintain mills in good standing on our AML
- Assist in claims processing
- Review procedural documents for quality & safety
- Assist department manager with vendor/mill audits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 5 years’ experience in an industrial/distribution environment minimum
- Ability to write, interpret and execute quality procedures and policies
- Intermediate to advanced skills with databases, spreadsheets, presentations and word processing software
- Excellent skills in communication both verbal and written
- Preferably bilingual: Spanish
