Job Description: As a MIG Welder, you’ll be responsible for constructing industrial-sized HVAC units designed for schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings. You will perform MIG welding, assembly, and testing to ensure the functionality and quality of each unit. Your role involves collaborating with the team to meet production goals and contributing to essential equipment for critical facilities. This opportunity allows you to develop your welding skills while supporting important projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding to assemble industrial-sized AC units
- Use hand tools, power tools, and a tape measure for accurate assembly
- Inspect parts and welds to meet quality control standards
- Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment
