Job Description:
Join one of Houston’s top healthcare systems as a Medical Records Technician II and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and availability of patient documentation. This position supports a medical records scanning project and requires someone detail-oriented, dependable, and organized.

Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve records to verify and audit patient information
- Update client charts and track locations using internal software
- Audit records and follow up on documentation deficiencies with physicians
- Respond promptly to information requests in person or by phone
- Prepare and organize charts and documents as needed for staff
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of medical records or related experience
- Familiarity with Epic software preferred
- Basic proficiency in standard office software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
