Job Description
Are you seeking a remote Medical Collector position? Responsibilities:
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid Behavioral Health claims.
- Send letters of appeal for denied claims.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Five (5) years of medical denial management, government, and managed care insurance, and personal collections experience is required.
- Experience with mental and behavioral health collections is preferred.
- Profound knowledge of collection techniques and billing procedures is highly recommended.
- Strong attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills are required.
