Job Description
A respected healthcare provider in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and assist with patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and passionate about patient care. Responsibilities:
- Escorted patients to exam rooms and measure vital signs.
- Obtain any concerns or side effect that patient may be experiencing with the medication.
- Monitor patients taking TB medication to ensure adherence.
- Dispense prescribed TB medication under supervision and protocols.
- Reach out to patients regarding any missed doses or appointments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- One year of Medical Assistant experience within a clinic/physician office setting.
- Have obtained Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
- Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.
Benefits and Perks:
