- Record patients’ medical history, vital statistics, and other important information such as test results.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and the physicians' instructions to patients and their caregivers.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
- Six (6) months of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with EMR is required.
- A current CPR [Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation] Certification is required.
