We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join a clinical team with a Nephrology clinic. You will perform the routine duties of triage, recording medical histories, and preparing the treatment rooms. What you will be doing:
- Recorded patients' medical history, vital statistics, and other important information such as test results.
- Prepared and administered medications as directed by the physicians.
- Explained treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients and their caregivers.
- Assist with in office procedures as directed by the physicians.
What is Required:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and/or experience in a physician office or clinic.
