Job Description: Join this maintenance team to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing throughout the manufacturing facility. This role supports mechanical work, helps maintain a clean and safe environment, and ensures production equipment operates efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment such as mixers, batch plants, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and motors.
• Perform basic mechanical duties, including tightening fasteners, changing filters, lubricating equipment, and replacing worn components.
• Coordinate and document preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, organize the shop, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Safely hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Conduct general building maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs.
• Keep work areas clean by removing debris and ensuring the maintenance shop and plant remain safe and orderly.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• 1-2 years of previous mechanical or maintenance work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Learn plant equipment and maintenance processes.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an industrial environment.
