Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Actively engages in safety activities, ensuring clear communication of safe work expectations and reducing risks related to machine malfunctions.
- Conducts risk assessments, driving corrective and preventative actions for electrical and mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws while maintaining high-quality standards for all products.
- Provides electro-mechanical training to maintenance technicians and manages purchasing of necessary parts and equipment for the facility.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
- High School diploma or GED required; a 2-4 year technical degree is desirable. Previous manufacturing or facility experience, particularly in Plastic/Foam Extrusion and Thermoforming, is a plus.
- At least five (5) years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent on-the-job training, with strong electro-mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment such as Thermoformers, extruders, and electrical distribution systems.
- Proficiency in electronic controls, including PLCs, servo motors, and VFDs, as well as solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, climb platforms, work 12-hour shifts, and safely work in environments with potential exposure to heat, chemicals, and dust. Must be computer literate and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

The base pay range for this position is 15.50, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
