Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and utility equipment to ensure efficient operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and installations involving electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and plumbing, along with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial machinery and utility equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend necessary repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for installations and troubleshooting
- Operate tools such as drill presses, pipe benders, and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Completion of technical courses in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC with certification (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or relevant license/degree
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
