Your new role as a maintenance technician:
- Monitor production areas to ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment.
- Review work orders to ensure accuracy and maintain documentation of work performed.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or modify existing equipment as required.
- Responsible for set-up and take-down of production equipment
(conveyors, grinders, blenders, combo dumpers, vacuum pack equipment, slicers, scales, forklifts, strap machines, tapers, etc.) - Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of food processing equipment.
- Hi-Tech packaging delivery and take away.
- New vacuum packaging equipment in updated facility.
What you need as a maintenance technician:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
- Minimum of 6 months work experience in the field of maintenance.
