Job Description
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating manual machines to produce and measure machined parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. You'll contribute to the production of highly engineered components by ensuring accuracy and consistency in every piece.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual machines to produce custom components
- Measure completed parts for precision and quality
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work area
- Read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints
- Communicate with team members to meet project timelines and specifications
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience as a Machinist required
- Strong ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
