As a Machinist, you will setup and program conventional ACME machines, which are a type of automatic lathe used for high-volume manufacturing. Read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers. Ideally be able to complete the set-up process.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and program conventional Acme machines to meet specific job requirements
- Oversee the machining process
- Inspect finished parts with micrometers and calipers
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Maintain records of materials used, production outputs and any issues during the machining process
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous machine operating experience is required
- Capable of process troubleshooting is a plus!
- Must be quality oriented, have strong attention to detail and great work ethic
- Strong mechanical aptitude

The base salary for this position is $17 per hour or more based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
