Job Description
Join a fast-paced manufacturing team as a Machine Operator, responsible for the safe operation of production equipment. This role involves starting and stopping equipment, performing minor troubleshooting, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring quality standards are met. The position requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform Level I preventive maintenance and participate in machine changeovers.
- Pull test samples for quality inspections and ensure non-conforming products are handled properly.
- Complete system transactions and maintain production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; Technical Certificate a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills and sound judgment for troubleshooting.
- Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull up to 80 lbs.
