Job Description
Our Suburban DTax department is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide critical support to attorneys and clients, ensuring effective communication and assistance. Responsibilities include preparing interventions and citations for delinquent accounts. We are looking for candidates who possess strong communication skills, organization, professionalism, and a can-do attitude. Both experienced legal assistants and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, and we are willing to train the right individual with the right attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare interventions and citations for delinquent accounts
- Assist attorneys in managing client files and communication
- Ensure effective communication between clients and legal team
- Manage schedules, meetings, and other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong grammar and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to retain and follow detailed instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Tax, Appraisal, and E-filing experience preferred but not required

The base pay range for this position is $35,360/year ($17/hour), excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow for future growth.
