- Hybrid Work: Must be local to Des Moines, IA (within 50 miles)

DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering, Finance, or similar)
- Training in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is required
- Black Belt Certification or in the process of obtaining certification
- 3-5 years of experience in related roles with increasing responsibility
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Passion for leading and driving change within the organization
- Practical experience with Lean transactional implementation and Continuous Improvement facilitation
- Ability to mentor and facilitate Lean Culture change in a diverse environment, working with floor staff and management
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As a Lean Expert, you will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives within our client’s organization. This position involves contributing to developing local or regional Lean plans, executing key activities in Lean Transformation, optimizing local processes and systems, leading business process changes, and delivering improved financial performance. Your responsibilities will also include leading change, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and mentoring others in Lean methodologies.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Provide input on local/regional Lean plans and country strategy
- Translate strategies into executable local plans and projects based on priorities
- Achieve breakthrough improvements in process capability
- Coordinate local/regional improvement projects using Lean methodology
- Benchmark against industry best practices and communicate progress
- Deliver project improvements and capture business change effects
- Lead projects for continuous improvement in revenue and cost reduction
- Report outcomes periodically to Lean Coach and Country MT member
- Act as a hands-on improvement agent and business partner
- Lead change initiatives to enhance current business practices
