Job Description
A leading packaging company in Bardstown, Kentucky, is hiring a 1st shift Inventory Specialist. This role includes tracking incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and coordinating with suppliers
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products, supplies, and equipment
- Preform regular physical inventory checks and audits
- Maintain detailed and organized records of inventory, shipments, and costs in computerized system
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role is required
- Computer skills with data entry and Microsoft Office is required
- Computer skills with a previous inventory management software is preferred
- Able to stand for long periods at a time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug test and background checks
