Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to support warehouse operations for a major manufacturer in Northwest Houston. This role is ideal for someone with a background in inventory management, material handling, and order fulfillment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting cross-departmental material requests. This is a hands-on, full-time position with long-term potential.
Responsibilities
- Stock inventory from received goods and returned materials
- Pick materials for all jobs and customer orders
- Respond to internal material pull requests across departments
- Maintain organized inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
- Ensure accuracy in inventory counts and data entries
- Follow ISO-9001 and applicable quality procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of inventory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading pick lists, BOMs, job orders, and inventory reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with inventory systems and best practices
