Job Description
A successful Internal Auditor in this role should be organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across various business units. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, especially when working with different departments and handling audit inquiries. A background in accounting or auditing, along with attention to detail, will help ensure high-quality work and valuable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Create and carry out the internal audit plan by identifying areas of risk and deciding what to include in yearly audits.
- Review risk reports and control systems to make sure important issues are considered in the audit process.
- Build strong relationships with different departments to better understand where audits can help improve operations.
- Lead audit projects, keep them on schedule and within budget, and support responses to questions from regulators and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of recent audit experience & executing audit plans
- Strong knowledge and understanding of audit principles
- Highly analytical and mathematical skills

The base salary range for this position is $60,000–$75,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
