Job Description
Seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to a variety of comfort and process classified and non-classified HVAC/R equipment including refrigeration, ice machines, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, chillers, rental equipment, VFD’s, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, pressurizers, pneumatic controls, steam heating, dehumidifiers and humidifiers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair and perform routine maintenance on air cooled, water cooled centrifugal, process chiller systems, pumps, valves, fan coil units in a commercial and industrial environment. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components associated with these systems. Assist in defining and developing the training, materials and tools needed to support our chiller maintenance/service business.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various classified and non-classified heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment in a commercial and industrial environment.
- Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
- Document equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, equipment number, building served, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have clear background, Drug free, and clear driving record.
- 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of HVAC/R equipment
- Knowledgeable of HVAC Equipment such as water-cooled chillers, air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, process chillers, DX, Air Pressurization and Scrubber Systems as well as Energy management controls both Pneumatic and Digital Controls.
- Knowledge of Industrial safety requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
